Requirements:
Licensing: State of Michigan:
Registered Nurse with Nurse Midwife Specialty Certification
Certification: American Midwifery Certification Board
Preferred:
Education: Master’s Degree in Nurse
Midwifery
Member: American College of
Nurse-Midwives
Responsibilities:
Full
scope nurse-midwifery practice i.e. conduct antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and well women care independently, safely,
professionally and with appropriate consultation when indicated
Ability
to work as a team member in a collegial manner with residents, attending staff
and nursing staff
Ability
to precept medical students, nurse-midwifery students, work with and precept
residents
Ability
to appreciate and embrace diverse cultural and ethnic differences within the
population served
Professional
Activities:
Attend
staff meetings; participate on various divisional, departmental, hospital,
community and state committees
Participate
in professional publishing, presenting at local and national meetings and
participate in and initiate independent nurse-midwifery research
Other:
Any
other duties as required by your division Director, Mary Lewis, CNM

Contingent Midwife at
Hurley Medical Center Flint, Michigan. This is to work 12 hour shifts if
OB Triage. The minimum number of days is 2 per month, but they can work
more. We need help days, nights and Saturdays. Ultrasound
experience for growth, BPP and AFI desired, but not required.

Good morning.
The University of Cincinnati College of Nursing has a new Dean, Greer
Glazer. Earlier in her career, Dean Glazer was a WHNP and is fully supportive
of our nurse-midwifery program. We have an opening for a tenure-track CNM
in our distance-based nurse-midwifery program. Please share with any you
think might be interested, including recent PhD grads with NRSA funding. I have
