Chapter 7 Marketing/PR Monthly Designation Perpetual Calendar
(Updated 5-6-08)

In August of 2007, the ACNM Region IV, Chapter 7 decided to ask practices in our region to each take responsibility for a piece of the overall effort to spread the word about nurse-midwives in Michigan.  The decision was made by the Advisory Council to ask each practice to take a month.  During your month, it is hoped that you can do something related to marketing or public relations, such as invite a local reporter in to photograph you in your office, offer free pap smears with payment of annual exam fee, attend a health fair, place an ad, etc.  Let the Chapter know what you are planning, so we might look for opportunities to magnify your efforts or coordinate them with those of others.  This is for 2007 and beyond.  We’re going to see how well this works.  See Susan Greenlee with questions or suggestions, sgreenleecnm@comcast.net.  Thank you!
